LEGALCommunity Rules

01Why these rules exist
Skate Labs exists to get people skating. Talking shit in your match is part of the game — being an actual danger or menace to other people is not.
02The rules
- Trash talk ≠ abuse. Competitive banter with your opponent is expected. Harassment, hate, threats, or targeting someone after they ask you to stop gets you removed.
- Play it straight. No fake attempts, no capture tricks, no dispute abuse. Cheating in a game about honor is embarrassing anyway.
- Share the result, not the person. Sharing a finished game’s result card is normal — that is what the Share result button is for. Your opponent’s clips and personal details are a different thing: don’t re-post them, and don’t share anything to pile on someone. If they ask you to take it down, take it down.
- Respect spots. Don’t post exact locations of sensitive or private spots, don’t dox a local scene, and use the reduced-precision and reporting tools when a spot needs protecting.
- Nothing illegal or dangerous to others in videos, chat, or spot submissions.
- Adults only. The alpha is 18+.
03Enforcement
Use the in-app report and block tools; every report is reviewed by a human. Depending on severity we warn, restrict, or remove accounts. Blocking someone immediately cuts contact between you, and any active game between you is cancelled without changing anyone’s record.
