What it is
Rolling into a ramp from the flat ground: the gentle entry where the rider pumps in from the flat bottom instead of dropping from the coping.

How it works
- Approach the bottom of the ramp rolling on flat, bend the knees, and ride straight up the transition a short way before rolling back down.
- It is the first step before learning the drop-in, teaching how the transition feels under the wheels.
