What it is
The first slide most skaters learn: the board slides sideways along the rail on the middle of the deck between the trucks.

How it works
- Ollie over the rail and turn the board 90 degrees mid-air, landing with the rail centered between the trucks.
- Keep the weight centered and the shoulders over the board; slide the length, then turn back and land on the wheels.
